Prime Maldives successfully conducted an insightful and hands-on farming training program in B. Kendhoo from 1st to 5th February 2025, focusing on hydroponics and innovative small-space farming techniques. The program attracted 25 enthusiastic participants eager to learn creative and sustainable ways to maximize productivity in limited spaces.
As part of the company's Namoona Dhanduveriya CSR initiative, the training aimed to equip participants with practical skills to transform small plots into thriving and visually appealing gardens. Sessions highlighted efficient space utilization, vertical farming solutions, and hydroponic techniques ideal for small-scale cultivation.
A participant shared their excitement about the training:
"The knowledge we gained on hydroponics and small-space farming was eye-opening. We now understand how to transform small plots into beautiful and productive spaces. This training has inspired us to think creatively about farming."
With the completion of the training in B. Kendhoo, Prime Maldives has now successfully trained a total of 803 farmers across the Maldives under the Namoona Dhanduveriya initiative.
