In an effort to expand relation with customers and concerned authorities, Prime Maldives has decided to collaborate with the Kaashidhoo Council.
During a meeting held with the Council and Prime Maldives, it was discussed on the ways which Prime Maldives can engage with the Council. The areas of collaboration will include providing technical support in developing the agricultural component of the Council’s strategic plan. The other areas of cooperation include helping the local community by conducting training farmers and school children.
“Promoting self-sustainability through farming is one of our key strategic objectives. As such providing free consultation to the farmers is a paramount CSR activity of ours. Therefore, we wish to start training sessions for the Kaashidhoo community as soon as possible”, Mr Zahid, Marketing Manager and the agricultural consultant of Prime Maldives has said.
In addition to giving consultation. Prime Maldives has also decided to provide to help the local farmers to do soil testing of their fields.
Assuring to the Council, Mr Shiyaz Ibrahim, the Managing Director of Prime Maldives the company has plans to further expand business in Kaashidhoo, in addition to the exisitng plant nursery in the island.
