Prime Maldives recently conducted its second training session in K. Gaafaru under the "Namoona Dhanduveriya" CSR initiative. The training program was organized by Gaafaru Women's Development Committee. The three-day program, from October 31 to November 2, 2024, engaged 21 local residents in smart farming techniques, including EM applications in agriculture, EM bokashi creation, natural pesticide formulation, composting, and soil preparation.
Participants praised the comprehensive approach. Ali Arshaah, one of the trainees, shared, “The training was thorough, and I learned so much. I look forward to more opportunities.”
Women’s Development Committee President Safoora Abdul Ghafoor expressed gratitude, stating, "We are thankful to Prime Maldives for conducting such a productive and informative training session."
To date, Prime Maldives has empowered 705 participants across the Maldives through the Namoona Dhanduveriya program, promoting sustainable agricultural practices and supporting local communities in becoming self-sufficient.
