Prime Maldives, in collaboration with the Gdh. Hoandehdhoo Council, has continued its successful agricultural training initiatives in Hoandehdhoo. This training is part of the ongoing "Namoona Dhan'duveriya" program, which aims to revolutionize farming practices across the Maldives.
The training session in Hoandehdhoo took place from July 20th to July 22nd, 2024, and was attended by 31 eager participants. The program covered essential farming practices, the use of Effective Microorganisms (EM) in agriculture, and hydroponics farming.
Participant Ahmed Saeed highlighted the impact of the training, stating, “We got very good information and we are ready to change the way we have been practicing. We are ready to increase the agricultural production of Hoandehdhoo.”
Participants expressed their gratitude and enthusiasm for the training program. “The participants are very happy and motivated. We are very thankful to Prime Maldives for conducting such a useful training program,” another attendee noted.
Prime Maldives' "Namoona Dhan’duveriyaa” program is a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative aimed at advancing farming and agricultural techniques across the Maldives. To date, Prime Maldives has trained 651 farmers across the country, making significant strides in enhancing local agricultural practices.
