Prime Maldives relocated their flagship shops – Prime Fertilizers – and merged these shops into one outlet. After merging their fertilizer shop and ornamental plant shop into one outlet, the new outlet is named ‘Kanaadhu’.
According to Sales and Marketing Manager of Prime Maldives, Mohamed Zahid, ‘Kandaadhu’ is a portmanteau two Dhivehi words ‘Kaanaa’ (food) and ‘Kaadhu’ (compost).
“All the items which we sold in the old shops will be available in the new outlet. Our aim is to provide all the agricultural inputs under one roof”, Mr Zahid said.
“With the added floor area, we expect to enhance our wholesale operation. Also, one of the major challenges we had in the previous location is that the road is too narrow and was difficult for loading and unloading. With relocating to the new location with a wider road and close to the harbor area, we also expect to improve our logistics operation”, Zahid further added.
