In an effort to boost sustainable agriculture and enhance farming techniques, Prime Maldives recently conducted a comprehensive hydroponics training session in Male. The session, part of the “Namoona Dhan’duveriyaa” training program, saw the participation of 45 enthusiastic individuals. This initiative underscores Prime Maldives' commitment to fostering sustainable development and championing environmental responsibility.
During the training, participants received extensive information on the basics of farming, advanced farming techniques, and effective pest management strategies. The hands-on approach of the session ensured that attendees not only learned the theoretical aspects but also gained practical insights into hydroponic farming. One of the participants expressed their satisfaction, stating, "We have earned a lot of information and are very keen to earn a good income from hydroponics."
The "Namoona Dhan’duveriyaa" program, a corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative of Prime Maldives, aims to advance farming and agriculture techniques across the Maldives. Through this program, Prime Maldives has successfully trained 544 farmers, equipping them with modern agricultural practices and contributing to the overall well-being of the community and the environment.
