Prime Maldives has participated Maldives Agrobuisness Exhibition 2022 organized by Ministry of Fisheries, Marine Resources and Agriculture. The exibition was held in Hdh. Hanimaadhoo on 18th June 2022. According to the Agriculture Ministry the Exhibition was aimed at connecting the farmers with agriculture input suppliers, crop buyers and other major stake holders.
The Exhibition organised under the Maldives Agribusiness Program was attended by 20 islands from Haa Alifu, Haa Dhaalu and Shaviyani Atoll. Maldives Agribusiness Program is a project Funded by International Fund for Agricultural Development and the Government of Maldives, to help promote agricultural development in the three most northern Atolls. The Exhibition was attended by various input suppliers and tourist hotel operators.
According to Manager Sales and Marketing of Prime Maldives, the Exhibition was a great opportunity to get intouch with the farmers and market the products of Prime Maldives.
With the noble objective of helping to ensure food security in the Maldives, Prime Maldives started as a supplier of agricultural inputs. The operation that started with a 20-feet container of cow manure, has since grown and diversified to a supplier of a wide range of products to different markets.
