Prime Maldives, in association with Addu City Women's Development Committee has conducted an agriculture training program in Addu City Hithadhoo. The training program was conducted under the "Namoona Dhan'duveriya" program initiated by Prime Maldives.
The training program was conducted from 10th March to 12th March and 26 participants from Hithadhoo, Maradhoo and Maradhoo Feydhoo attended the training session.
Commenting on the training program President of the WDC, Ms. Nusrath Rasheed told that the training program surpassed their expectations and told that the participants are very happy and motivated to conduct agricultural activities. "We are looking forward to conduct more training programs in association with Prime Maldives" Nusrath told.
"We got so many information that we were not aware of. The training program is very helpful and we are ready to implement what we learned in our fields" told a participant of the training program.
Prime Maldives "Namoona Dhan’duveriyaa” program is a CSR initiative of Prime Maldives to help advance the farming and agriculture techniques in the Maldives. Under the program prime Maldives has trained 306 farmers across Maldives.
