Prime Maldives team visiting Haa Alifu Utheemu, for Agriculture training program, has met the Island Council and Women's Development Committee.
During the meeting Utheem council president, Abdulla Rasheed, thanked Prime Maldives management for collaborating with Utheem Council, Women's Development Committee of the Island and Utheem United Uthuru Sports, to conduct a much needed training program for the farmers and home gardeners in the Island. He also highlighted the importance of engaging more people in farming related activities and the need for training and easy access to the inputs for farming.
Manager Sales and Marketing of Prime Maldives, Mohamed Zahid, acknowledge the warm welcome and hospitality being extended by the people of the Island. He also gave assurance to the Council that Prime Maldives will be working closely with council, WDC, NGO's and the people of the Island to increase the agricultural production of the Island.
Prime Maldives team visiting the two most northern Atolls has conducted training programs in Hdh. Neykurendhoo and Ha.Ihavandhoo.
With the noble objective of helping to ensure food security in the Maldives, Prime Maldives started as a supplier of agricultural inputs. The operation that started with a 20-feet container of cow manure, has since grown and diversified to a supplier of a wide range of products to different markets.
