Prime Maldives has conducted agriculture training program, for farmers and home gardeners in Ha. Ihavandhoo. The training program was conducted under the "Namoona Dhan'duveriya" program initiated by Prime Maldives.
The three day training program was conducted from 7th October to 9th October 2021. The training program was conducted in association with Ihavandhoo Council and Club Polestar. Prime Maldives led by the Head of Marketing and Technical Services at Prime Maldives Mohamed Zahid, delivered the training program.
"I have gained a lot of knowledge and learned a lot. Every participant is very happy and we are so thankful to the Prime Maldives team". Said Aishath Zahira, a participant of the training program.
Another participant and training program cordinator from Ihavandhoo Club Polestar, Moosa Manik, said the training program is well beyond his expectations and he is looking for more opportunities.
Prime Maldives "Namoona Dhan’duveriyaa” program is a CSR initiative of Prime Maldives to help advance the farming and agriculture techniques in the Maldives.
With the noble objective of helping to ensure food security in the Maldives, Prime Maldives started as a supplier of agricultural inputs. The operation that started with a 20-feet container of cow manure, has since grown and diversified to a supplier of a wide range of products to different markets.
