The well know seed brand, Technisem has appointed Prime Maldives as their authorized distributor in the Maldives.
Technisem is the first seed company to get involved in the marketing of quality seeds to Africa. The company is specialized in breeding vegetable seeds for tropical regions.
“We expect this bond with Technisem to strengthen our position in the agro-input industry in the Maldives.”, Mr. Ahmed Shiyaz Ibrahim, the Managing Director of Prime Fertilizers Maldives said.
Technisem is a French company established in 1985. They are specialized in breeding and supplying of all types of vegetable seeds. The company has been ranked 2nd in Western and Central African region by access to seeds index in 2019.
With the noble objective of helping to ensure food security in the Maldives, Prime Maldives started as a supplier of agricultural inputs. The operation that started with a 20-feet container of cow manure, has since grown and diversified to a supplier of a wide range of products to different markets.
